The Notes: Bloggers I Love

Todays post is a little different, it's basically going to be a list of my favourite bloggers. Someone over on my tumblr, which can be found here, has been asking me repeatedly to put a blogroll together so last night I sat and wrote out all of my bloggers. So here it goes...

Beauty Bloggers

Fashion Bloggers

Lifestyle etc Bloggers

Vloggers

Of course these aren't all of the blogs I read, however these are the ones I read on a daily basis and the ones I sit down with my notepad so I can take notes on what to buy. This list doesn't even contain all of my favourites so I had to condense it to the best of the best, in my eyes. You can check out my bloglovin, which shows you all of the blogs I follow on there. But if I follow you on twitter, I will be reading your blog!

What's your favourite blog?

The Skincare Post: Facial Mists

It's been getting hot here in London recently so I've been mixing things up with some facial mists to keep my skin refreshed and hydrated. Plus a cool spray feels lovely on warm skin! So let's get down to it...

Caudalie Beauty Elixir, I've been spoke about this many times and I love it. It's the most expensive out of the bunch, which is why I'm trying to find a cheaper alternative. I've been using this to set my make up and to spray on my skin throughout the day, which is adding radiance to the skin. The one I've been trying to replace it with is the Simple Moisture Boost which is a hydro mist, containing lotus flower and glycerin, both of just gives dull dehydrated skin a moisture boost. It doesn't claim to do marvellous things like the beauty elixir, which is good because it doesn't add that amount of radiance like that does. It does however give my skin a massive boost of hydration in the morning & evening! It's went down quite quickly but it's cheap in Boots which is perfect so you can repurchase it. Avene Thermal Water Spray is a soothing and anti-irritating french product which is massive in Paris. If you've been reading Into The Gloss recently, you will have seen the 'How To Wash Your Face' videos, which are memorising if you haven't watched them yet. Isabelle Bellis shows us with her beautiful french accent how to wash your face correctly and this product is featured heavily in the routine. All french skincare brands are amazing, but this being available in Boots is even better. Produced for sensitive skin, but used on all skin types, it can be used on a lot of things from sun burn, facial redness, razor burn to after exercise. This purchase was massively influenced by Suzie, as we both dashed to the cashier with two in our hands.

Have you been trying out facial mists in the warm weather? They're great for hot countries!

The Hair Post: Tresemme Platinum Strength Range

As soon as I saw this popping up on blogs, I knew it was for me. I'm not one to indulge in shampoo and conditioner, I will usually just buy what ever is on special offer in Boots. My hair is naturally dark blonde, however I dyed it lighter blonde a few years ago and with various other dyes on top, I had to stop dyeing it. It finally got to a colour I was happy with and then I bleached the ends to give it the 'dip dye' feel and since then, I have been growing my hair out. Now what you see is hair natural colour on top with lighter blonde remains on the end. Through all of this, my hair is pretty damaged so teamed with heat, it is not in good condition.

Tresemme Platinum Strength range claims to visibly repair up to 2 years of damage, as it aims to put strength, manageability and softness back into the hair. They have a special technology which helps reform the hair 'lipids' which makes the follicle more smooth and strong. The range consists of 5 products, shampoo & conditioner, instant rescue shot, leave in conditioner and a deep conditioning treatment. I've been using the shampoo and conditioner for 5 weeks now and used three of the rescue shots.

I don't usually notice that big of a difference with shampoo but this has made a massive one! My hair is left smooth and soft, plus overall when its dry, it's less frizzy. Whether this has helped or not, my hair has grown so much in the past month and I think it may be down to these products. I had my hair trimmed before I started to use these products and by now, my split ends should be coming back but so far, they've been reduced dramatically, that's something we all suffer with! Will I continue to use it? Yes I will, let's hope they're on offer in Boots.

The Sunday Post: Summer Is Coming

You always want what you can't have and this time my wishlist consists of many things I might have to wait till my birthday for. I'm trying to be thrifty and not purchase anything, both because I can't but I also know that this coming summer will be tough when I'm working 6 days a week. Unfortunately, my wardrobe is screaming out for summer clothes. I'm in need of a good pair of shorts again as my black Levi's button has popped off (not due to my stomach, thank god) and plenty of thin tops as summer in London is a hot one!

So I've started off by saying I want some more summer clothes and the one piece of clothing on there is a black top, but it's a beauty. Just a cotton strap top from & Other Stories but tucked into a pair of denim high waisted shorts and it'll be great for hot days. That leads me onto the denim shorts from Chicnova, they even come with the belt, something I'm lacking in my wardrobe. Pairing both of those together needs a good pair of trainers, where the New Balance ones come into the mix. My shoe collection is crying out for these, literally; my Adidas and Nike ones aren't cutting it at the moment. NARS Illuminator in Copacabana dotted along the tops of my cheekbones or mixed in with Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturiser, oh my. I'm smiling just at the thought of that look, along with a hint of a tan. Next up is something what will have to wait till my 21st birthday but I want to mention this particular one, the Burberry Rose Gold watch. It may be only my 20th birthday in September but as my mum has it in her head that I need something meaningful for my 21st, I'm going to go for either a watch or a ring. Unfortunately, my dad doesn't agree with the Rolex I am in love with. Last but not least, the Whistles Peachy Pink Make Up Bag. Multi purpose as you can pop your belongings in for it to be placed in a bigger bag, such as Zara City Bag or to be used as a clutch on it's own!

What are you eyeing up at the moment?
