The Outfit: London Blogger Meet Up

Striped Breton - Ralph Lauren // Black Pinafore - New Look // Brogues - Office // Bag - Topshop // Ring - East London

Yesterday meant that it was finally the London Blogger meet up which has been something I've looked forward to for a while now! It was organised by the lovely Sophia from Tattooed Tealady, so she deserves a massive thanks as it went perfectly. We all met outside Selfridges early afternoon before heading in store for a little shopping. I arrived with Allie from Rush & Teal and we were stood outside for a while trying to figure out if every girl there was in fact waiting for the meet up, turns out that they were! We had just under an hour of shopping in Selfridges so I dragged Allie to all of the places I wanted to go, such a lovely girl, especially as wherever we go, she turns into my personal photographer!

After shopping, we headed over to She Said Beauty HQ for an evening event, which they kindly put on with a few brands. The brands which were there were Illamasqua, HD Brows, Millie Mackintosh Lashes & Filthy Gorgeous. It was a pampered evening where you could get your lashes done, brows shaped, make up done and a manicure, all followed with wine & cupcakes! The evening went smoothly, with an addition of a few bloggers singing One Direction at the end. I got to meet some lovely bloggers, many of which had travelled quite far to get to the event, so hats off to them for coming so far!

For my outfit, I didn't let the chilly wind put me off wearing a jacket but the long sleeved top kept me quite warm. I was determined to wear all new items as I hadn't had the chance to wear any of them until now. After a few messages sent to my fashion blogging friends, they helped me decide what to wear with my pinafore and this was the result, it's definitely a 'me' outfit!

Tonight I'm heading over to Freemasons Hall for an event with Cosmopolitan magazine which should be interesting!

The Outfit: Celine x Ebay

After seeing the 'Celine' t-shirts around in the blogging world, I finally took to eBay and bought one! For the past 5 months or so, I've been telling myself to buy more 'dressy' tops but I've always ended up more t-shirts and stripy bretons! So to add to the collection, I thought that this would look good with my collection of high waisted circle skirts I own for the summer! I'm planning on pairing it with a high waisted leather skirt for Tuesday night, adding a little fake designer to my outfit as it's the closest I'll get to owning any Celine clothes.

This weekend in London, especially Sunday, it was rather sunny & warm so my sister and I headed over to Brick Lane in East London to look through the markets and have a beigel. I bought a lovely silver ring with blue stone on it, it matched my nails perfectly so I felt obliged to buy it! I took advantage of the warm weather to try out my latest sample, Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturiser in Nude. As soon as I applied it and looked at it in the daylight, I was in love and felt the urge to buy it. Even though the colour isn't the perfect match to my skin tone as I'm very pale right now, I'm planning on buying it for my summer skin base so it needs to be a bit more of deeper colour. For now, I felt as though it gave me glowing skin I've always wanted.

Today I'm spending my morning at university, before heading over to Selfridges to meet some blogging girls and then over to She Said Beauty HQ for an event!

Would you like a little tutorial to show you how I do my hair like this, let me know if you do!

The Outfit: New Look Summer Press Day

Dress - Primark // Shirt - Topshop // Bag - Topshop // Loafers - Zara

On Friday, I went to the New Look Summer Press Day at their head office with a few other fellow bloggers. We went to their refuel room throughout LFW so I was happy to see them all again with the same New Look team. It was a cold chilly day but I was determined to wear my new dress out which I picked up when I was last up north. Teaming it with my Peter Pan collar shirt from Topshop underneath (which also helps me stay warm) and Primark super cosy tights, I was happy all day. Of course I had my winter coat from Pull & Bear as I would be frozen without that. I left my Zara City bag at home as I was staying over at my sisters on the night and this bag is better for an overnight stay. My loafers from Zara were picked up in their latest sale for only £10, down from £50 and they are from their Spring/Summer '13 collection, I've finally worn them in so they no longer hurt.

If you can ignore the fact that my stomach looks rather puffy due the way I've tucked my shirt in my tights underneath my dress (come on girls, we all do this in the winter!), you may be able to notice that my eyebrows look slightly red. This is because I had just got them threaded by the lovely girls at iBrows who were at the Press Day. It was my first time getting my eyebrows threaded, so I was rather surprised that it hurt that much, but I think I've been changed to a threading lover. They look a lot neater and actually look pretty similar for the first time, however I learnt one was straight and the other was arched, which is very annoying. I will do a post on them soon showing you which products I use to fill in etc.

The Outfit: LFW Day 5

Cardigan - New Look (not mine), Shirt - Topshop, Chain & Trousers - H&M, City Bag - Zara, Brogues - Office

London Fashion Week is over and as you can tell by my face in these photos, it's been a tiring week. Bex has gone home and I'm left packing my washing ready to go back up north to visit my parents for a long weekend today. The last day was the best day, I saw Ekaterina Kukhareva in the afternoon and then finished with Tahir Sultan in the evening. Both amazing designers but I have to admit that Tahir Sultan was that little bit better due to the fact I was on the front row. This weekend I'll edit the photos and upload them on here along with a few more posts I have in mind.
It's been an amazing weekend and I've gained so much experience from it, plus it's made me realise that for September, I have to be a lot more prepared with outfits. I've met a lot of people this week and made some good friends, along with bumping into Zoe from The London Lipgloss and Emma from milkteef a few times, who are both lovely girls!

Now I can have a few relaxing days off without having to lug around the Zara City bag, however it's served me well over these past few days.

What have you been up to recently?
