The Sunday Post: Autumn Wishlist

It's October and I'm already thinking about what I want for Christmas! But there is a few things I don't think I can wait for, so these will be purchased in the next month or so.

I've been on the hunt for a very dark red lipstick and I think I found it at Chanel yesterday, but they unfortunately didn't have it in stock. Chanel Rouge Allure Velvet in 39 La Somptueuse is a perfect shade. A dark red with a hint of brown, as I was determined not to get one which was berry toned. Another product I went to buy a few weeks back and it wasn't in stock, Kevyn Aucoin Celestial Powder in Candlelight. It was either between this or the Laura Mercier Baked Highlighter but this won due to is being so finely milled. I ordered my winter coat on Friday from Topshop, after it being out of stock in all of the stores. Now I'm thinking of my head getting cold and I want a good beanie as the ones from last year are just Primark mens special. Carhartt Anglistic Beanie is gonna be mine soon! I'm going to order the new Bridget Jones book this week, Mad About The Boy, as I've loved all the past ones. The final one is actually what I'm going to ask for Christmas, Daniel Wellington St Andrews Women's watch in Rose Gold. As much as I love all the Michael Kors watches, I want one what is very classic and can go with everything. This will do until I can get my hands on my dream Rolex!

The Sunday Post: A Never Ending Wishlist

My never ending wishlist, once I buy one thing on it, something else just replaces it. I've been wanting these New Balance trainers for months now, I gave up on another pair as they were pretty much extinct. I've finally found them in stock in my size but I might have to wait till my birthday. YSL Le Teint Touche Eclat Foundation, I've used so many samples of this and I think it's time to man up and buy it. It's so pretty, dewy and perfect! My zip on my purse has broke, I've been using the same one since I bought it from a handmade leather market in Marrakech. I would want a Mulberry one but that's never going to happen so Whistles will do. In my eyes you can never have too many basics and Topshop basics are my favourite! I have that dress in a forest green and I've worn it so much I think it's time to buy another one. The Travel Journal Moleskin has a story behind it, sort of. So I'm saying goodbye to London, for now, moving back home and saving up a lot of money. I plan on booking a one way ticket to Thailand for just after my 21st birthday next September, backpack around the country and work somehow. I've always wanted to travel and I have no other commitments so why the heck not. I just need to persuade my overprotecting parents...

This week I've been super lazy, to the point where I think I'm really busy but I haven't done anything. I've been obsessed with this Jay Z song, it's been on repeat so much recently. Tattoologist has been my go to website this week, cue the over empowering urge to get another tattoo. I always have major love for Kate's blog, but this week she posted about being more organised, something I need a lot of help with, plus she gave me a lot of advice recently which I'm very thankful for. Jenny is a good friend of mine and although we have totally different skin types, she can persuade me to buy anything on her blog!

The Notes: Summer Essentials

Can I say that summer is here now? Well after looking outside to gloomy London, it's not here but it is warm and I'm going to embrace that as much as I can. I've been trying out a lot of new products recently so they will be popping up on here in the next few weeks.
Summer is here but NARS Creamy Concealer in Vanilla is not. It's sold out everywhere in London, trust me, I've rang pretty much every NARS counter. I've tried it out twice and that's enough to convince me I need it. It's the creamiest concealer out there, which is perfect for both under eyes and blemishes. I'm hoping to get my hands on that so I can pair it with lots of mascara, Volume Million Lashes, which really does give you volume, alongside the Kevyn Aucoin Celestial Powder in Candlelight. I want it, I need it and I will get it. But £34 for a highlighter? I'll step away from that extra cookie each week and save my pennies. I'm looking forward to this low key, but I need a little colour on my face so Clarins Liquid Bronze is still keeping me from looking like a ghost. You can read my full review of it here. To finish off the look, I've been testing out Jurlique Rosewater Balancing Mist which has been adding a glow to my skin I didn't think was achievable. I've said goodbye to Caudalie Beauty Elixir and hello to this.
As I'm not going anywhere near a beach soon, I've turned to Bumble & Bumble for their Surf Kit. I'll post a full review of the shampoo and conditioner this week but oh man, I'm going to be shouting from the rooftops about this stuff! Ojon is a brand I often dip my toes into so I've been eyeing up the Rare Blend Protecting Treatment. I need everything to help my locks stay in good condition and so far I've read good things.
To finish it all off, I've just got my hands on Ray-Ban Wayfarer in Tortoiseshell. I've only been wanting them for a good two years now, so at any opportunity I've been whipping them out to make the most of the sunshine.

What is your summer essential?

The Sunday Post: Summer Is Coming

You always want what you can't have and this time my wishlist consists of many things I might have to wait till my birthday for. I'm trying to be thrifty and not purchase anything, both because I can't but I also know that this coming summer will be tough when I'm working 6 days a week. Unfortunately, my wardrobe is screaming out for summer clothes. I'm in need of a good pair of shorts again as my black Levi's button has popped off (not due to my stomach, thank god) and plenty of thin tops as summer in London is a hot one!

So I've started off by saying I want some more summer clothes and the one piece of clothing on there is a black top, but it's a beauty. Just a cotton strap top from & Other Stories but tucked into a pair of denim high waisted shorts and it'll be great for hot days. That leads me onto the denim shorts from Chicnova, they even come with the belt, something I'm lacking in my wardrobe. Pairing both of those together needs a good pair of trainers, where the New Balance ones come into the mix. My shoe collection is crying out for these, literally; my Adidas and Nike ones aren't cutting it at the moment. NARS Illuminator in Copacabana dotted along the tops of my cheekbones or mixed in with Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturiser, oh my. I'm smiling just at the thought of that look, along with a hint of a tan. Next up is something what will have to wait till my 21st birthday but I want to mention this particular one, the Burberry Rose Gold watch. It may be only my 20th birthday in September but as my mum has it in her head that I need something meaningful for my 21st, I'm going to go for either a watch or a ring. Unfortunately, my dad doesn't agree with the Rolex I am in love with. Last but not least, the Whistles Peachy Pink Make Up Bag. Multi purpose as you can pop your belongings in for it to be placed in a bigger bag, such as Zara City Bag or to be used as a clutch on it's own!

What are you eyeing up at the moment?
