The Outfit: LFW Day 4

Cardigan - Urban Outfitters, Polo neck top - H&M, Velvet Skirt - American Apparel, Boots - Topshop, City bag - Zara, Sunglasses - Topshop

Any little bit of sunshine in London and everyone whips out their sunglasses, following suit I realised you get away with wearing them even when the sun has went in, brilliant! Yesterday I learnt my lesson not to wear heels as my feet are killing and today I'm definitely wearing flats. I went for the 'comfy yet cool' look and ended up freezing my ass off once the sun went down, but by that time I was full up with burgers & cupcakes. I took Bex to Hummingbird Bakery & Meat Liquor today, so happy she loves to eat as much as I do!
Today is the last day of LFW which is both good and bad, as tomorrow I go home for a long weekend but today I'm attending a show on behalf of Anna from My Beautie which is exciting, not exactly front rowing yet, but I'm getting there.
Adding to my collection, my latest addition of lipstick is NARS Funny Face. I bought it on a whim when I was upset that MAC Pink Pigeon was sold out everywhere. It's from their semi matte range and the staying power is brilliant, I only had to apply it once after eating. I'm trying to take myself from the deep purples & reds now, by stocking up on brighter colours for spring time. I'm thinking more of those 'in your face' lipsticks.

What has your favourite show of the season been so far?

The Outfit: LFW Day 1

Shirt & Jumper & Skirt - H&M, Shoes - Office, Bag - Zara

So today I spent the day at LFW! I wasn't attending shows but I was at the New Look Refuel room where we got to see their new spring/summer collections and got to meet other bloggers whilst drinking bubble tea!

As I was with other bloggers, we took the opportunity to wander around Somerset House to snap some street style. I thought that as I was taking photos of other people, I should photograph what I was wearing too. When I was planning my outfit, I thought that going with a monochrome touch to my outfit, it would fit the season very well as that's all the rage. However I left my make up quite natural, with just a little kohl on my top lashes, mascara and a soft coral lipstick from Bobbi Brown. When I was at the New Look Refuel room, we had the opportunity to have our hair done. He pin curled my hair and brushed it into a modern day curl, something I am loving! Normally when I curl my hair, it doesn't last all day, however it's still going strong 8 hours later. He told me that the way to keep the curl is to pin curl it and leave it in the pins until it's completely cooled.

After a hectic day over there, I spent the night at a launch for a new product what I will talk about soon.  Now it's time to relax before I repeat this whole process on Sunday at LFW with Topshop!

Have you been to LFW this weekend, if not, what are you most excited about seeing from the shows?

The Outfit: Ready for a Disco

Disco pants, you either love them or hate them. I love them and they're definitely working their way into my wardrobe. I wore this outfit a week back to my friends party, it was just a casual affair and I hadn't worn my disco pants in a while so I decided to whip them out. I've been trying to think of different ways to dress these and every single outfit ends with trainers or flats! I'm not a heels gal (except a pair of heels I'm eyeing up for the summer), I love trainers and comfort. I have quite a collection of trainers now, from vans and converse to various different Nikes. I think my Nike Janoskis are my most worn shoes at the moment. I've been trying to find the Nike Air Max with the blue Liberty print what came out a few months ago but unless I want to pay a massive amount of money, I won't be able to get them! I start semester two at uni today so I'll be finally back into a normal routine, I'm going to try and find a way of wearing my disco pants in a casual way, maybe with a slouchy jumper, as I think I'm the only one to find them comfortable to sit in.

Disco pants, are they for you or not?

The Outfit: Oxford Wannabe

Oxford University Jumper
Chelsea Boots

Anyone who is in England at the moment will understand how bad the snow is, which is why this outfit fitted my day perfectly yesterday. I was heading over to Brick Lane to meet my sister for the afternoon and it hadn't stopped snowing all morning. Of course I was wearing my winter coat, hat & gloves but this was the basis of the outfit and for a casual day it's one of my favourites. You will have to excuse the half curly hair, that's what the winter weather does to girls who don't have naturally straight hair. Oh, and this shows that I don't wear lots of make up everyday, here I'm only wearing Origins VitaZing tinted moisturiser, mascara and a little MAC wedge through my brows!

At the time of putting these boots on, I thought 'great, these boots will be perfect for the snow'. Oh how wrong I was. Yes, they may be the warmest boots I own but they have no grip on the bottom what so ever which meant at one point during the day I landed on my bum in the snow, how embarrassing.
This is the type of outfit I wear to university most days, if I'm heading into central afterwards I might put something a little better on, but for the days when I'm going to be sat in a lecture hall half asleep, I may as well be comfy! Leigh jeans from Topshop are my favourite, they're so comfy and stretchy, which means that you should always downsize in them, you just have to deal with them being not very comfortable for the first few weeks.

What have you been wearing during these cold snowy days?
