The Sunday Post: Yet Another Wishlist

1. Mulberry Scarf // 2. Warby Parker Glasses // 3. MAC Diva // 4. Essie Fishnet Stockings // 5. Topshop Peep Toe Flats // 6. Topshop Joni Jeans // 7. COS Striped Top

You know when you see an item and you instantly fall in love with it? That happened to me this week when I saw the Mulberry Summer Tree Jacquard Scarf in Raspberry. I don't own anything from Mulberry, yet, however I look to them for inspiration for a bag or accessories. But I don't think I'm going to find a dupe for this scarf as it's this one I need, with the silk cotton blend, it's just dreamy. Unfortunately it's not my birthday till September and I don't feel right paying £195 for a scarf. This just gave me an idea to create an outfit based around the scarf, which had led to me thinking I need everything in the picture.

A few months ago I sat on my glasses and broke them, typical. Since then I have bought cheap ones which have broke instantly and think it's time for me to see again when at university and I've found these glasses from an American website called Warby Parker, unfortunately they don't ship to the UK yet so I'm still on the quest to find new glasses. MAC Diva is a lipstick what isn't spoke about that often, it's a deep red from the matte range. I've been searching for a deep red shade similar to Rimmel Kate Moss 107, yet without the berry tone and even darker, so this lipstick seems to fit the bill. Along with the red theme, Essie Fishnet Stockings seems to be such a lovely true deep red nail polish. I sneakily tried it out in Boots on one of my nails and instantly fell in love with it. The peep toe flats from Topshop seem a bit silly for this weather in London right now but I'm hoping for some more summer weather soon so they're going to be picked up on my next trip there. Topshop have jumped on the bandwagon and brought their own version of The Easy Jean from American Apparel, called the Joni Jean, which I'm sure you're all familiar with. I'm going to treat myself to these soon once I've stuck to a gym routine. I saw this top in COS a few weeks back and asked myself if I really needed yet another stripy top and the answer was no. But now I've thought about it, this is the 'perfect' stripy top what I have been looking for, for about two years now, can I justify paying £45 for it though? Not just yet.

To me, this is a perfect outfit for a warm spring day (which is yet to come). What have you been loving this week?

The Sunday Post: Another Wishlist

This week has been slightly boring, it's consisted of working a lot and doing a lot of university work. When I'm at university, I rarely wear make up, only if I'm going out somewhere after. However I did go to the New Look Summer Press Day which was fun, I also got my eyebrows threaded for the first time there (which may I add, hurts a hell of a lot).

Starting off with a majorly expensive item which I'm lusting after, the Canon 650D. I have a Nikon D3000 now, which I've had for about 4 years now. It is a brilliant camera but the quality has dropped a lot since I got it and for the close up shots what I need, it's not the best. It's my birthday in September (goodbye teenage years) so this will be at the top of my list. Following on from that, I'm feeling very pale at the moment so I'm eyeing up MAC Soft & Gentle, which I have a feeling I've mentioned in this post before, as well as the Clarins Instant Smooth Self Tanning. I have bought No7 Facial Gradual Tan since wanting this so I will report back about that. I'm not sure if you know but I have a tattoo on my ribs of the 'infinity symbol', I got it when I was 17 and hid it from my parents till my 18th birthday so I could tell them! I've found this ring on quite a few websites and I've finally found one which is sterling silver so that I'm able to wear it all the time. Last but not least, the Enrapture Encode Totem is something what has been floating around the blogging world recently and after being taught that to get my hair curled correctly, I need to use a totem wand! I may as well invest in the best right?

So what have you been up to this weekend, have you been buying anything new?

The Sunday Post: A Wishlist

1. Necklace from Zara, 2. Pink Pigeon Lipstick from MAC, 3. Trousers from H&M, 4, Platforms from Zara, 5. Shirt from Topshop

I'm bad at saving money, I literally plan ahead what I'm going to buy on the days I get paid. This week I'm thinking this limited edition lipstick from MAC because it's beautiful and it will add a touch of colour to a very neutral outfit (e.g this look), plus it's limited edition so that's enough to justify it to myself, yeah? I saw these trousers in H&M the other day and they're basically pj pants but smart, exactly what I've been looking for. Plus they'll be perfect for the summer. The shirt, well that's something I've been looking for, for a long time now. Pairing the trousers with the shirt, adding the little touch of silver necklace, these shoes would look perfect with it. With the addition of my new Zara bag, oh this look is something I need.

I'm thinking past this cold weather and looking forward to the warm spring I'm hoping is going to brace London, are you too?

The Sunday Post: Best Picks Of The Week

So here it is again, my Sunday top picks of the week. I was about to say that I haven't bought anything this week but then I remembered I bought Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation, oops. I'm stopping buying things until I get paid in a few weeks but it's so hard not to have a little look in places when you work in various different beauty halls across London.

1. Next Black Geisha Platform Shoes: I'm not really a heels type of gal, mainly because I can't walk in them very well but if you add a little (or a lot) platform, they're mine. I tried these on a few weeks back when I was at home and I loved them. I could walk in the perfectly and I just imagined all the outfits I could pair them with. When it comes to payday, these are going to be mine.
2. Laura Mercier Creme Eye Shadow in Alloy: When I was working, I walked over to the Laura Mercier stand to have a little peek at some of their products as I don't own anything from the brand and I fell in love with these creme colours. Often I wear just one colour all over the lid and this would look perfect with a little MAC Paintly pot underneath.
3. Laura Mercier Eye Brow Pencil in Blonde: I had been eyeing up the MAC eyebrow pencil in lingering for a while now but since I've been using kohl pencil for a while now, I think I want to stick with that. High street brands aren't the best for the shade range for eyebrow pencils and for £13, this doesn't seem bad at all.
4. MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Soft & Gentle: I was working next to MAC and ended up making a list of all the products I wanted and I came across this and thought 'why do I not already own this'. For the summer, I need it. Simple.
5. Topshop Studded Leather Purse: I've been looking for a new purse for a while now and although everyone seemed to love the one I'm using at the moment from my last post, it's simply not organised enough for me (I'm a bit of a freak like that). I've looked at this in store, loved it, but then looked at the price and saw it was a whopping £30. For a bloody purse? I don't think so. I'll be giving my friend Lucy a holla so she can get me staff discount.

I just realised at the end of this post that I say that 'I need these' things when in fact I don't at all, but we all do these things don't we!
Also, as I mentioned in my last outfit post, I was going for an interview for a beauty PR internship, well guess what? I bloody got it didn't I! I'm over the moon with it and I can't wait for the summer so I can be working there with the lovely girls.

So what have you been eyeing up this week?
