You may have noticed that I'm not a blush girl. I own a few but I rarely wear them as I don't think they suit me. I have naturally very rosy cheeks (which, of course, I hate) so it always looks like I'm wearing blusher. I'm forever jealous of all the pretty blushes I see my friends wearing, so I only own a select few. When the Clinique Cheek Pop Blushes* arrived, it pushed me into wearing them.
At first look, they look incredibly pigmented and almost scary in the pot. But when applied, they glide onto the skin into a natural looking flush. I dapped a little onto my cheeks using my fingers before buffing out with a stippling brush to blend it correctly. They look like a cream blush on the skin, not a single bit of powder in sight, something which I personally love. There are four shades altogether, Ginger Pop, Peach Pop, Berry Pop and Plum Pop.
I will usually always go for a peachy blush, so here I'm wearing Peach Pop, ever so slightly brushed onto the tops of my cheek. I learnt from Kate that when applying blush onto the tops of my cheeks, it helps to slim the chubby cheeks. I'm also wearing it dapped onto my lips, as I was wearing a similar lipstick and it just helped to enhance the shade that little bit more. There is a shade to match all skin tones, so don't be scared to try them out. Plus for 3.5g of product, they're only £16.50 so it works out really well priced as you're never really going to get through the whole pot of product.
