Testing Out New Launches

There have been a lot of new launches lately and two of them which have caught my eye are featured in today's daily make-up! I'm sure you have seen everyone rave about Benefit's Big Easy, well I'm here to rave all about it again because I love it.

So I keep the base quite matte by using the Benefit's Big Easy*, which is their version of a BB Cream but a whole lot better. It's oil free, so I was unsure at first as my skin is rather dry but it doesn't cling to dry patches at all and don't disappear throughout the day like some foundations can do. It has a liquid to powder formulation and is medium coverage, with a velvety feel to it. The shade is spot on too, I am using the shade light/medium which suits my skin tone perfectly. During the summer months, I may mix the darker shade with it just to add a little bit more colour too. Plus, it has SPF35 in it so for the days when you forget it, it's perfect. Overall, it is worth the hype.

Another new launch is by Clinique and yet again, I am loving their mascaras. The new Lash Power Feathering Mascara* is the perfect day mascara. I've been mixing it up between the brown and black shade, as I quite like brown for a more toned down look. But it provides the perfect amount of volume and lengthening for every day. I've worn it to the gym, it has lasted through a boxing class and it never budged. One huge bonus point I will give it is that it's the easiest mascara to ever remove. Just add warm water and it's gone! No more scrubbing your eyes like the Benefit They're Real (it still has a special place in my heart), this just needs a gentle wipe.

The rest of my face consists of Hourglass Eyebrow Pencil in Soft Brunette, a little Soap & Glory Smoulder Kohl in Brown smudged across the lash line and Clinique Chubby Stick Intense in Roomiest Rose* on the lips. I've even added a little blush to the look, which is Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Blissful, the only blush I ever wear.

What do you think of the new launches?
