Benefit Dream Screen

So the sunshine is out and I would like to think it's here to stay for a while now. As the sunshine comes out, the SPF also needs to be purchased. It's only lately that I've been making sure that I apply SPF on my face every morning, whether it's in my foundation or a moisturiser. On the days I'm going to be inside a lot, I will just rely on my foundation but on the days I'm out and about in London, I need a good solid SPF.

So this is where the Benefit Dream Screen* comes into a play, which is a new product for me. I'm used to using an SPF which is fairly thick but this is the opposite. It's a water based product which needs a good shake before using it as it's such a thin consistency. With a high SPF 45, it's going to keep you protected from most harsh rays, but mostly the English rays. I apply this over my moisturiser of choice and it leaves my skin with a silky-matte finish, something which I didn't expect and I prefer for the oilier months. So its great for people who are a little drier as you can user it over a moisturiser and also people who have a tendency to lean towards oilier skin as it's an oil free product. People are comparing it to the Kiehls Ultra Light SPF 50 cream, but I cannot have a say about that as I haven't tried it, however it does seem very similar.

What is your face SPF of choice this summer?
