Multi Purpose Balms

Everyone needs a good multi task balm and here I have two. The iconic Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream Fragrance Free and Bobbi Brown Extra Soothing Balm. But what do I use them for?

I use the Bobbi Brown Soothing Balm* as a lip balm, chapped skin hydrator and I just slather it on all over dry skin. It's a super thick stiff pot of stuff which needs warming up on your fingers before you can use it. Throughout the colder months I was using it around my nose where I would get super flaky, just a little before bed to hydrate that area even more. Think of it as a grown up version of Vaseline (without the awful ingredients) to use on your cuticles and lips.

Now the Eight Hour Cream, many moons ago I went through a full tube of this stuff but it contained fragrance and it had a god awful smell. This is the fragrance free version and it may not smell the most delightful, it is useful. it is a classic, everyone and their mother has used it at some point in their life. It protects the skin and moistursers and soothes it all at the same time. I don't think I need to explain what you can use this for because you can use it for everything. Everything from cuticles, chapped lips, sunburn, highlighter or to shape your brows.

Have you ever used either of these?
