The Budget Buy: A Multi Use Eyeshadow

So the last time Boots has 3 for 2 on their make up, I had a little purchase and came across this eyeshadow. I love all champagne shimmery shades so I was immediately drawn to the shadow, so it came home with me and it's just been a love affair ever since.

The Bourjois Eyeshadow in 08 is a champagne shimmery mineral baked eyeshadow. Until now, this is the only Bourjois eyeshadow I have tried but I am seriously impressed. If I'm in a rush, I will quickly add a wash of this all over my lid and onto my brow bone. If I have a tiny bit more time, I will intensify the look with a shimmery cream shadow underneath it.

But I have also been using this as a highlighter too. When swatches, it's very similar to the Kevyn Aucoin Celestial Powder in Candlelight, just a toned down version of it. I've been wanting that highlighter for a while now so I was happy when I realised I could use this as a highlighter. I pick up a tiny bit onto the Bobbi Brown Sheer Powder Brush or if I want a more intensive look, I will use the Real Techniques Contour Brush as that picks up a lot of brush. Blend it in properly as it can look a little harsh but I am obsessed with the shade.

Have you tried any of the other shadows?
