Hi.

Welcome to my blog. I'm Lucy. I document my life, travels, food, favourites here...

Charmed by Chubby Sticks

Clinique Chubby Sticks are a product which have been around for a while now. So many brands have attempted to copy of them, some of them good but most of them fail. Whether it's eyes, lips or cheeks, Clinique has it covered on the chubby stick form.

When it comes to Chubby Stick Lip Balms, I wear them so often. I didn't realise until I emptied my bag one day and wondered why I had 7 different shades from the past week. From the intense version to the original, there's a few shades for all moods. My favourite shades are Broadest Berry, Roomiest Rose and Grandest Grape which are all Intense shades, Graped Up and Two Ton Tomato are great for a stain on the lips which were the original Chubby Sticks. They have recently brought out Chubby Stick Baby Tints, which are tinted lip balms. The best part of them are that once the balm has worn off, it leaves a stain on your lips which sticks around for a while. Poppin Poppy and Flowering Freesia are two of my favourite out of the range.

After the lips, Chubby Stick Shadow Tints came out next and they were another hit. Although slightly difficult to apply, it's best to apply directly to the lid and then blend with a flat brush. Neutrals will always be my favourite so it's no surprise that Lots of Latte and Fuller Fudge are my most used. A little different from a usual shade is Mighty Moss, a dark green which looks perfect blended with Fuller Fudge.

Chubby Stick Cheek Colour Balm came out the same time as the baby tints and have been a winner all around. Creating a healthy glow on the skin, it's an oil free formulation which blends lightly with the fingertips. I've been using Amp'd Up Apple, which is a mauvy plum shade perfect for A/W.

Have you tried any of the Chubby Sticks, if so, which are your favourite?
