London Life - Brunch at Caravan

Last weekend I met my sister off the Eurostar to go for brunch after not seeing her for a few weeks. Our favourite way to catch up is over brunch as it's both of our favourite meal! If I could, I would eat breakfast food for every meal, I love it so much.

We headed to Caravan in Kings Cross, just across from the station in Granary Square. There's not much around the area except from Central Saint Martins, but it's definitely an up and coming area. I've been there a few times but it was Kayleigh's first time at the restaurant so she was excited. As we headed there at peak time on during Saturday brunch, we either could wait 45 minutes to sit inside or sit outside now, so we went outside even though it had just been raining.

As for the food, it's delicious and I would highly recommend it here. I just went for poached eggs on sourdough bread with a side of chorizo. I always pick poached eggs when I go out for brunch as I still haven't mastered them in the kitchen. Kayleigh went for jalapeΓ±o corn bread, fried eggs, black beans, guindilla pepper with a side of chorizo too. For drinks it was a simple flat white, apple juice for me and watermelon, apple and mint juice for Kayleigh (which I wished I got in the end).

Caravan also have a branch in Exmouth Market which is still quite close, however that's more of a restaurant and bar. At Kings Cross, there's no booking on the weekend but you can during the week which is always an option.
