I didn't plan on writing this post but it's such a lovely way to reflective and have a look at what you would like to do in the next year. 2014 was a brilliant year for me but also a year I would like to say goodbye to. It's always best to close some doors and keep them shut for good and in the past. So the next year, you have a lot to live up to!
Travel - After having a short break alone in Sicily in the summer, I am determined to do it again but in a different country. Travelling alone really opens your eyes and it was such a great thing for me to do. I want to travel with friends this year, both out of the country and around the UK. I'm hopefully heading to Berlin in the next few months, I'd like to visit new parts of the UK with my parents and jet off somewhere hot in the summer. There's three places which really stick out to me at the moment when I think about where I want to go and they are Switzerland, Cambodia and L.A. I can always keep dreaming, right?
Fitness - This goes alongside travel in a way for me, as I want to feel comfortable if I do head overseas for a break. Too many times this year tears were shed over how uncomfortable I felt and unhappy I was with myself so this is the year I have to do small changes. There's no point other people pushing, as coming to terms with it yourself is one of the biggest tasks and that's what has happened to me in the past month. I'm signing myself up for another 12k run in the next few months so that I can work towards that. Is this something you would like to read more about?
Food - Alongside fitness comes food, because I love food and who else doesn't? But after a few requests, I put up a few recipes last year which kept popping up on my Instagram. They were posts I really enjoyed photographing and writing. Whether it's healthy, indulgent, something new and exotic, it's time to step out of my comfort zone. Look out for more in the next year.
Blog - Can I start by saying thank you for all your comments, tweets, emails and every little bit of interaction you have with my blog and I. I appreciate it all so much, there's been emails which have brought a tear to my eye as they've been so sweet and I've laughed out loud at some of the jokes. You all push me to write more posts and this will continue throughout this year. I have a few new series coming out in the next month or so, some new topics I'd like to talk about and just generally a lot more 'me' going onto the blog. One thing I noticed people commenting about was that they'd like to see more 'me', rather than just my make up etc, and I agree. I'm not exactly going to be showing you the depths of my pyjama collection (it's amazing though), but more about me and my life.
What would you like to see more of in 2015? What is one resolution you have set yourself for 2015?
