One product which reminds me of my mum is The Body Shop Peppermint Cooling Foot Lotion, she puts it on every night and has done for as long as I can remember. There's no cracked heels in sight so I always knew in the back of my mind that it did something good. So when I was complaining about my dry feet (ew I know) to her, she told me that I should just buy that. It wasn't until a few weeks ago when I finally bought it and realised why she had loved it for so long.
I believe that the Peppermint Cooling Foot Lotion has been a staple product in The Body Shop stores for years now, they have a whole range in the peppermint scent along with a foot scrub and a foot soak. I've been applying this every night before I go to sleep, a thick layer and then putting some comfy socks on top to keep the moisture in. My feet are now almost summer ready, with the lack of a good pedicure. A combination of scrubbing with a pumice stone in the bath and applying this cream, my feet are now soft with no cracked heels. Containing cocoa butter for hydrating the feet and grape acids as a chemical exfoliant to keep the skin soft and smooth, it's a combination of ingredients which makes it a brilliant product. The peppermint scent is a blessing in disguise too for the post-gym feet after a hot shower!
It comes in two sizes, 60ml for £3 or 250ml for £8 which is the better choice of value for money and will last for months! I've always used The Body Shops Body Butters and most likely always will as they're a necessity for my skin, but this is also one too along with hand cream. The small shortest beauty tasks are sometimes the best ones. Now every night before bed there's a sweet smell of my mum in my London flat which is very comforting.
