Experimenting with make-up is one of my favourite things, however, I do always end up sticking to what I like. But on a daily basis, if I decide to wear make-up, I want something which will take me under 2 minutes to apply. My skin is thanking me, as it's never behaved so well and I'm certain it's down to not wearing lots of make-up every day (but also cutting out the dreaded dairy).
So this is where these three products come in - my true three daily make-up staples! I've been eyeing the Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue Tinted Gel Cream up since it was launched and only started to try it last month and it's blown me away. I haven't touched anything else since using it the first time, except for an evening when I will mix a little NARS Sheer Glow with this to add more coverage. Believe the hype as it's completely worth it! It's better than any other tinted moisturiser, BB or CC cream I have used. It's a lightweight tinted moisturiser which will give you light coverage but it can be built to a medium coverage if you add another layer. Although I know some people may use this underneath a foundation, I've found that this is perfectly fine on its own. I've been using the shade Buttercream 03 which is a perfect match for me as it's slightly yellow toned and also doesn't wash me out.
The next issue I tackle on my face is my brows, which I'm currently trying to grow them out a little. I'm not trying to make them thicker, as thanks to the girls at Benefit on Carnaby St, I'm super happy with the shape, but I'm stopping trimming the brows. I find that my eyebrows look too uniform when I trim the hairs and by using Benefit Gimme Brow, it adds a certain thickness to them. Gimme Brow is a tinted brow gel, which I use in the shade Medium/Dark, which is the fiber gel instantly makes brows look thicker and darker.
On a day to day basis, I don't always like wearing mascara as it can look a little too 'done' on me, so there is where the new Benefit They're Real Tinted Primer comes in. Launching on the 26th of December, you can either use it before following on with the mascara or use it on it's own for a little colour and definition. It adds a little definition and length, but with a brown colour rather than black which can sometimes be quite hard. Plus if you're after a make-up time to use for daytime at work, apply this and swipe on a mascara before evening drinks!
