15 Beauty Favourites from 2015

Last year, I wrote about my 14 beauty favourites from 2014, so now it's time for 15 of my beauty favourites from 2015! Once I like a product, I seem to stick with it if it's a good one. This has meant that this year I have gone through multiple of these products which I'm going to be talking about.

  1. Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue Tinted Gel Cream in Buttercream - A light coverage tinted moisturiser which makes your skin look completely natural and glowy. I am in love with this and I have worn it every day for the past few months or so! When I want a little extra coverage, I will either dab a little more on top of my cheeks or mix a little of the Becca Ultimate Coverage Complexion Creme with it as that is a super high coverage foundation.
  2. Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage Concealer - For the blemishes, this has been my go to coverage, but also a product which I use when I only want to wear concealer as I take a little on a small buffing brush and blend it over any red areas. Two colours of concealer which create the perfect shade to match many skin tones and will cover redness & blemishes.
  3. Burberry Sheer Eyeshadow in Pale Barley - Last year I was all over the Khaki eyeshadow from Burberry, but that was before I picked this up with some Christmas gift cards. Now I am completely obsessed and have converted many people to it (I even bought my sister it for Christmas just gone as I knew she would love it). The perfect everyday eyeshadow which is a shimmery taupe brown which is great on it's own but also as a base for any smokey eye. As you can see, I really have loved it this year!
  4. Benefit Gimme Brow in Medium/Dark - My eyebrows are thankful for this product this year, as combined with a little of the Anatasia Brow Wiz in Soft Brunette, they're the perfect combo. But on the lazy days or days I don't want strong brows, a little of this combed through my eyebrows is perfect. It keeps any strays hairs in place as well as adding a tint of colour to the brows.
  5. Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Poured in Opal - There's no denying I love highlighters, I wear it every day even if I'm not wearing bronzer to go with it, I just feel as though it lifts my face a little and makes me look more alive. This one in particular is a new favourite of mine as it's a cream version of my favourite liquid highlighter! Think of it as an everyday version as the Becca Shimmering Liquid Skin Perfector or the powder version as you can apply as little or as much as you like. I prefer to use a little for daytime and then layer it up for a glitzy night out.
  6. MAC Eyeliner in Coffee - I'm not one to line my eyes with eyeliner, but I will tightline my upper lashline a little with this most days. The perfect dark brown eyeliner which isn't too dark but dark enough to add a little shadow to the eyes. Pair it with just mascara or smokey it up for a smokey eye from eyeliner alone.
  7. Benefit Roller Lash Mascara - A mascara to go with the eyeliner, this year has all been all about the Roller Lash mascara. Last year I was all over the They're Real mascara and I still am for the evening, but it's a great alternative for the Benefit lovers. I really love this mascara and I think I'm on my 4th tube of it already!
  8. Lorac Pro Palette - This was brought back from the US for me in the summer and I can agree with everyone else, it really is worth the hype. More often than not if I'm doing my make-up elsewhere, I will take this with me as it can cover all looks. Buttery pigmented eyeshadows, it covers all shades from matte neutrals and shimmery darks.
  9. Chanel Le Base Protective & Smoothing Coat - For someone who doesn't get along with Chanel nail polishes at all, I was pleasantly surprised I liked this. Using it as a base coat underneath any nail polish, but also alone for the days I'm not wearing any polish. Slightly pink toned so it adds a natural wash of colour to the nail too.
  10. Sephora Formula X Raspberry Nail Polish - The polish which has been on my nails for the majority of the year has been from the Formula X range, a raspberry shade which isn't too bright but can be layered to become darker. What I love the most about it is that it doesn't chip on me for a good 5 days, which is rare!
  11. Bite Beauty Agave Lip Mask - Another Sephora purchase, the Bite Beauty Lip Mask which is a super thick sweet tasting lip balm which is to be used overnight. Not only do I love the taste (it literally tastes like honey), but I always wake up with soft lips with no signs of chapped lips which is brilliant for the cold winter.
  12. Dior Lip Glow Lip Balm - Another lip balm, but the perfect lip balm which adds a hint of natural colour to your lips. Think of it as a lip stain which you can apply without looking in the mirror on the go, which makes you look alive and well!
  13. LUSH Ro's Argan Body Conditioner - Something for the body and the first product I have properly fallen in love with from LUSH! A rose scented thick body lotion which conditions the skin and keeps it smooth. A little goes a long way but the pot of the lotion lasts forever too!
  14. Maison Martin Margiela Replica Lazy Sunday Morning Fragrance - I'm a huge fan of a strong sexy fragrances, which is why I love Tom Ford's fragrances so much but also why I love using this as something different. Lazy Sunday Morning is inspired by the lazy Sunday mornings during the summer in Florence, as all the Replica fragrances are inspired by moments in time around the world. The scent is described as 'soft skin and bed linen', with floral notes and patchouli in it's purest form.
  15. Aesop Fabulous Face Oil - For someone who worked for Aesop for around a year and a half, I never properly used Fabulous Face Oil until I left. I then fell completely in love with it and suddenly couldn't get my hands on a huge supply of it (thankfully my best friend still actually works for the company). A face oil created with oily spot prone skin in mind, which mine isn't but it's my go to moisturiser/oil on an evening, especially as when my skin is a little hormonal!
