Something I love about Christmas are the traditions which come along with the festive periods. No matter how small or big they are, I absolutely love them and cannot wait to one day create my own traditions. One tradition I have with my sister is that a weekend before we head home for Christmas, we'll head to Somerset House to see the Christmas tree. Every year it's one of the most beautiful trees in London and although we're not going ice skating there too, we just like to see the tree.
Wandering around Somerset House at the weekend, I took advantage of the pretty surroundings to show you my go-to outfit at the moment. Ever since the weather has changed to winter temperatures, there are a few items which I haven't stopped wearing. First up is this scarf from Accessorize, a striped blanket scarf which really is big enough to use as a blanket. It's super thick and warm, plus the colours match my wardrobe colour palette perfectly. Paired with the scarf is a navy wool-blended long coat from Monsoon, which originally had a fur collar attached to it but I took it off so I could pair it with scarves instead.
I will openly admit that I have an obsession with trainers, I own so many pairs already yet I always am lusting after a new pair. I only ever really wear trainers and ankle boots, so I can justify buying them as I always wear them till they're ruined. In the summer I purchased my first pair of Superga trainers, a light pink pair which I still love but after realising how comfortable they are, I've been looking for an A/W pair. I love the dark burgundy colour of this pair, mostly as it matches all my bags which are burgundy. This particular comes from Cloggs.com, where they are currently on sale too!
