In the past few months, I haven't tried any new launches which have completely wowed me. Although many have worked their way into my routine, they haven't replaced other products. Yet these five products have wowed me and I would definitely suggest looking into them.
Clinique Lip Pop Lipsticks* are a new lipstick range by Clinique. They offer both a primer and lipstick in one tube in an array of shades, one which will suit everyone. These butter lipsticks glide into the lips, leaving behind a high pigmented glossy lipstick which is vibrant and fresh. It has a long wear formulation and comes in 16 gorgeous shades. My favourite shades so far have been Nude Pop, a nude lipstick which is very similar to MAC Patisserie; Plum Pop, a light pink berry shade and Sweet Pop, a light pink which luckily has no 'barbie' tones in it.
Benefit Roller Lash is Benefit's latest mascara addition. Although I love Benefit's They're Real, I have pushed that aside and have been using this for a daytime look. A mascara made for short or straight lashes and those with smaller eyes, it's promised to be a 'curls best friend'. Naturally I'm quite blessed, my eyelashes are quite long and curly, however They're Real can be a little dramatic for a day time. Roller Lash still gives the length and the separation of lashes, without the huge thickness like They're Real. The mascara wand is slightly curled with tiny little hooks which are designed to the curl the lashes, just like hair rollers!
Aesop SPF50 Protective Body Lotion is the newest addition to Aesop's body care line. Being the first SPF body lotion created by Aesop, it has been in the works for a few years now to ensure that the formulation was correct. If you have tried the Parsley Seed Hydrator, it's the same consistency of that which is a very light lotion. With a refreshing aroma as it contains spearmint and lemon, it will protect your skin against both UVA and UVB rays. Although it is water resistant, as always it will need to be reapplied around every 80 minutes.
Clinique Turnaround Daytime Revitalising Moisturiser* has been my go to daytime moisturiser since receiving it. My skin has changed a little recently with me breaking out a few more times than usual and my skin becoming a little oilier. With that in mind, I wanted a lightweight moisturiser for the summer which still hydrated my dehydrated skin. The revitalising moisturiser is an oil free hydrator which boosts the radiance of skin tone without creating an oily look to the skin. It comes in two shades, rosy glow and golden glow, although I didn't realise there was different shades until a few weeks ago after using it for a month or so. There is no pigmentation to the hydrator, just a slight shimmer to the moisturiser which helps add the radiant look to the skin.
Origins Original Skin Renewal Serum* is Origins newest serum addition and is perfect for most skin types. Aimed at people going through their Quarter Life Crisis, it helps de-stress the skin, smooth any roughness and just get rid of fatigue. If you have a problem with pores, dullness, flaws and roughness, this is the serum for you. A light layer to go underneath your moisturiser, it is great for day and nigh use. I have noticed my skin has looked brighter and the roughness which can appear around my jawline has disappeared too.
