Week In A Nutshell #7

This week has been a strange one, I've felt like I have been busy constantly, but looking back, I can't remember much I have done. The sun has been shining most days so I've spent as much time as I can outside, so I have a new splatter of freckles on my face and a sunkissed tan. I love London in the summer, the city becomes a whole lot more beautiful and you simply forget about the awful cold weather which can arrive at times. Except when it comes to getting on the tube, now that is a downside of London in the summer.

It was towards the end of the week when the highlights began. On Friday, a bunch of flowers arrived from Appleyard Flowers, a UK flower delivery service, where I chose the Summer Lavender bouquet. As I'm so used to going to the local florist or to M&S for flowers, it was lovely to see how well an online store can work for delivering flowers. I'm definitely going to keep this in mind for when I next need flowers delivered to my mum, as I usually use a local florist to my parent's house. But if you do decide to order from Appleyard (which I would 100% recommend), if you enter BLOG33 in the checkout, it will give you 33% discount off your order!
Another highlight was that I successfully managed an unsupported headstand in pilates in my Friday evening class. I have been going to pilates around three times a week now, it's definitely a class I have fallen in love with so with the help of the teacher and a friend in the class, I succeeded with my headstand. Managing to do something I never thought I could do has definitely pushed me to go more often.

The main highlight was seeing Taylor Swift live last night in Hyde Park at the British Summertime Festival. I saw Taylor live for the first time last year at the RED tour which was incredible and I didn't think anything could beat it, oh how I was wrong. 1989 is possibly the best album she has written, I listen to her songs at least once a day and know all the words to every single song (super fan much?). I cannot put into words how amazing it was, the whole crowd was enjoying it and singing their hearts out. After spotting Karlie Kloss up in VIP watching her, my sister and I got even more excited knowing that Taylor was going to bring people out on stage. So when she welcomed Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid, Serena Williams, Karlie Kloss, Martha Hunt and Cara Delevingne onto stage, that was definitely another highlight. However, I was definitely more excited about Karlie Kloss as I'm a huge fan of hers.

This week has a lot to live up to but with some time off midweek, I'm going to soak up the rays in the royal parks as it's meant to get hot hot hot this week!
