Sunday Musings III

For the first time in a long time, I have felt completely inspired to plan my blog properly. I've been putting my ideas down on paper and figuring out a way to make it all happen. Amongst all of this, I've been seeing blogging friends at a few events this week which made me very happy. Because of that, I've come across new launches which will be popping up on here soon enough.

In the run up to my trip to Bali, I bought this bikini in the Cos sale and I am so happy with it. I spotted it a few months ago and fell in love, but hadn't booked any holiday by then so I didn't expect to need it. So when I went online to find it half price in the sale, it was a win-win situation. I find it hard to find a bikini which covers your boobs and supports them, without looking like a bra and this does just that. I'm going to be pairing with a pair of black high-waisted pants and some tan sandals.

If you haven't spotted this already online or on my Twitter page, Karlie Kloss has started a YouTube channel and it's my new favourite thing. There may have only been three videos, but I have enjoyed each one and have watched each twice. This may all stem down to the fact I am a huge fan of Karlie though!

A few of my favourite things from this week are -

  • Sali Hughes: In The Bathroom With Rosemary Ferguson on YouTube. I had heard so much about Rosemary Ferguson and had read extracts from her juice book, yet didn't know that much about her. I'm always a big fan of Sali Hughes' In The Bathroom series and I enjoyed this one just as much as the others.
  • With a new Everyman cinema opening up where I live, my flatmate Grace and I went to see Southpaw at the cinema. It's not a movie for everyone, but it was one of the best movies I've seen this year. Jake Gyllenhaal and Rachel McAdams were fantastic in it, it was a brilliant movie. Although, I cried about five times during it and left the cinema in a total mess, just like all the other girls in the theatre.
  • Baby Pink Superga trainers! I have already expressed my love for these trainers but after wanting to buy them all summer, I picked them up this week as a payday treat and I am so happy with them. So happy I put them on as soon as I got home and walked down the road to Whistles to treat myself further. Damn that local store...

As for yourself, what have you enjoyed about this past week?
