I was going through my make up, 'shopping my stash' as you would say, when I came across my Urban Decay Naked palette. For the past few months it's been put into storage, replaced with individual shadows and of course, since getting Naked 2 at Christmas, completely forgotten about. Most people own the first Naked palette, so I decided to create a look what most people would be able to create.
I started off by priming my lids with MUA eye primer, making sure to bring it under my eye too as I was going to bring the shadow down there too. I used a large fluffy brush to apply Toasted, a reddened/purple dark champagne shade, all over the lid, then a little of Sin, a warm shimmery champagne shade, over the top of that. I then brought Hustle, a metallic taupe, in the crease and blended that thoroughly so that it was all blended. Whatever was left my brush by that point, I brought down just under my lower lash line to add a little definition. To add more definition to my lashes, I lined my tight line & water line with Rimmel Scandaleyes in Taupe before coating my lashes in L'Oreal Telescopic mascara. I then took a pencil brush and added a little Virgin, a highlighter shade, to the inner corners of my eyes and on my brow bone.
What do you think, would you stick with a safe smokey eye like this or be more daring and add a little black to it?
