The Monthly Favourites: January Favourites

It's the end of January, excuse me what? Surely I'm not the only one who cannot believe how fast this month has went! This month has went pretty well actually as I've been off most of as I only went back to uni this week, but I found out I passed one of my modules for semester one with a 2:1 which I'm pretty pleased with and also in January, I got an internship for the summer. I think the highlight is finding out that on Sunday I'm going to Duck & Waffle, a restaurant in London I've been dying to go to since I heard about. I'm sad I know, I just get excited about going to new places for food.

Starting off with the book, Blog Inc, this has been a brilliant read for the tube and I've been able to take quite a few tips from it. The first few chapters are a bit useless for myself but the rest are such good advice. For any newbies, this is the book for you if you're wanting a little help setting up a blog. Urban Decay Naked 2 palette, I've pretty much used this every day since I got it, well every day I've wanted to use eyeshadow. The first Naked palette hasn't even had a look in. Naked 2 is definitely softer and more for day make up, however Naked is for the dramatic eyes for a night time. One thing I have used every day is Rimmel Scandaleyes in Taupe, I don't think I have to say much on this as I've mentioned it so much. That little container of liquid is a rollerball perfume, Acqua di Parma Iris Nobile Sublime, a lovely sweet scent what lasts all day. My mum gave me this little tester when I was home and I love it, it's perfect for the handbag for a night out. V05 Hot Oil, but it's the one you don't need to warm up before popping it on your hair, which makes it so much easier! For the days I use a lot of heat on my hair, this gives it the moisture it needs. Real Techniques Buffing Brush with Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation has been my go-to combination since I bought the foundation. It is a little bit too dark for me, meaning I'm going to keep it as my summer foundation but if I spend the time to buff it, it gives me a healthy glow what I've been needing recently. Origins Night-a-Mins night cream, combine this with Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Concentrate, oh wow it's heaven for my skin. Last of all, Soap & Glory Hand Food, the last thing I apply on a night and my hands thank me for it.

What has been your favourite product of the month?
