The Skincare Post: Masks and Treatments

So here it is, the last part of my skincare series (although I've got quite a few more planned for the coming weeks). They have proved very popular recently, with a few people emailing me questions which I will answer in posts dedicated to the issues, so thanks to everyone who has enjoyed them! These are the products that I will use as well as my morning/night skincare products. Most of the time they are used in the evening as that's when I have the most time to spend on skincare. This doesn't include everything in skincare collection as I'm currently trying out new products to review soon.

Starting off with Origins Drink-Up Intensive Overnight Mask, a firm favourite of mine, which I reviewed here. I use this about twice a week throughout the night, usually on the same nights which I have used another mask. You can either layer it on or apply a thin layer so that you don't have to wash it off in the morning, I will usually layer it on so that my skin gets the most moisture. I use this on the nights I've used Aesop Primrose Facial Cleansing Masque, which I reviewed here a few weeks ago. I use this once or twice a week, just applying a thin layer to my face, waiting for it to dry before washing it off with warm water. It leaves my skin feeling refreshed and the next day, I'm able to see a big difference when applying make up. Origins Spot Remover Gel, a little pot of wonders, which you can see my review of here. Some people love it and some hate it, I however, love it. My skin doesn't get breakouts but whenever I see a little blemish forming, I will pop this on over the night and by morning, it will have disappeared. I am lucky to have such good skin but I have heard from other people, that it helps a lot. Origins Make A Difference Night cream is the night cream I will use on the nights when I have either oiled my skin up or have layered up the serum, a review can be seen here. It's a gel based cream, something which I don't usually choose but as my skin has already got so much on, this is lightweight and sinks in straight away. Nuxe Reve De Miel, do I need to say anything more? I carry this around with me everywhere I go. I apply it before bed and I wake up with perfectly smooth lips. I also pop it on in the morning after I apply my base so that it can sink in before I put my lipstick. Origins Drink Up 10 Minute Mask, I'll use this on a morning when I have a little more time than usual but only when my skin is feeling a little dehydrated. I find that its good just to give your skin that little bit more hydration on a morning so that it doesn't dry out when you're stuck in weather controlled rooms, which are awful for your skin. Origins Modern Friction is my face exfoliator at the moment and I love it. I've used others in the past and as my skin is very sensitive, they have always reacted badly to them. The particles are so fine in this that it doesn't affect my skin which is perfect. I use this twice a week as my skin is prone to flakiness so this keeps the dry skin at bay.

So there it is, the skincare products I reach for whenever I need that bit more help. I think it's confirmed that I love Origins skincare, which I do and it's my favourite brand at the moment!
