I don't know about you but lately whenever I've gone into Topshop, I've either loved 50 things or hated everything in there. It's very hit and miss lately, plus don't even get me started on their current sizes for clothes. I braved going into Topshop Oxford Circus the other day (big mistake), had a little browse and due to how busy it always is, I ended up where I always end up - in the basics. Topshop basics are the best, you can't go wrong with their a-line skirts, tee dresses and T-shirts, but I'm getting a little sick of their plain items. That's where their website comes in, it has everything on there and as long as you go down on all items of clothing, I may as well order in store or to my flat.
Masculine matching suits are everywhere at the moment and since I've come to realise that I'm never going to find that perfect mint green suit (if you come across one, send a link over to me), I went straight to Topshop for their pick. Forrest green, a colour which has been popping up in my wardrobe so often recently. I'm not a heels gal, unless it's boots, so I think these flats are perfectly! I love the strap at the back, adding that little cut out detail to what is a very simple shoe. The clutch, I know it's not Topshop, but they didn't have anything just right for this outfit so I headed over to the Selfridges site and it's beautiful. Patent, stone grey, embedded YSL on the front, which will sit perfectly under your arm - plus it's something I'll never be able to afford. For the make up, keep it simple. Stick to spring/summer 13 trends: neutral eyes with nude lips, little mascara, dewy sculpted face with highlighted cheekbones.
My bank is weeping right now as all I want to do is go and buy this. What have you been lusting after this week?
