The Edit: Tame That Frizz

As you could see from my last hair post, I'm stuck with the type of hair which will turn into Monica from Friends on holiday (The One in Barbados... you all know the one I mean). So with these damp cold days recently, my hair has been prone to frizzing so I've pulled all stops and brought together a few products to help fight the frizz.

Label.M Protein Spray*, this can be used as a heat protector or to refresh your hair throughout the day (think Caudalie Beauty Elixir but for hair). I've found that keeping this in my bag for when I'm going out straight from uni, just to touch up my hair and to calm it down, it does the trick. Bumble & Bumble Mending conditioner has been my treatment of the week lately, leaving it on for about 10 minutes altogether leaves my hair feeling a lot stronger, well it has after using it for a month now. I've seen a decrease in split ends and my hair isn't snapping as much as it usually would. V05 oils, I love them. V05 Hot Oil is great for putting on your hair before shampooing and adding more moisture into the hair. I find that this one in the tube is better than the hot oil you actually have to warm up in hot water, just saves a lot of time I guess! Pairing that with V05 Miracle Concentrate, which you can use on both damp hair before styling or after styling to calm the hair. If I know it's going to be awful weather in the next few days, I will work it through damp hair, as that works best for me. That's where Bumble & Bumble DeFrizz comes in, which is what I will put in straight after blow drying my hair. I always need to sleep on my hair after it's washed for it to feel normal, I know that is strange, but I feel that adding a little product into freshly washed hair will get rid of that fluffiness, which we all hate. Since banishing aerosols from my room, I've been using Aveda Brilliant medium hold hair spray to hold my curls once I've used the curling tongs. It never feels hard or sticky on my hair, smells natural and leaves your hair with a shine. Lastly, I find that using a Tangle Teezer on the morning, rather than a hair brush, decreases the frizz so much as it doesn't tug on my hair so much and it tames it as it's going through.
