The New Thing: & Other Stories

A few weeks ago, & Other Stories, opened up on Regent St and online. Hennes & Mauritz created the gap between H&M, Monki & COS, which has been a long time coming. It's got the quality of Monki, follows the trends like H&M and has the clean cuts like COS, what more could you want? The clothes are amazing but the first place I headed was their beauty section, situated at the back of the store. It's back to basics and no fuss packaging with these, exactly what I like. Created to suit all skin types & tones, they cover all bases from brushes to suit the foundations to the skincare suited all skin types.

I went in store with the hopes to pick up the cream contour, stick highlighter and this cleanser. Both the cream contour and highlighter was sold out, but I managed to get my hands on the cleanser. I love Cetaphil and Liz Earle but knowing I was heading home the next week, I decided I needed a smaller cleanser to lug back with me. £5 for 100ml, one to suit all skin types so I picked up Holistically Hydrating Cream Cleanser and I've been using it morning & night this past week. After splashing warm water over your face, start to massage a 20p sized dollop of cream into your face, before wiping off with a muslim cloth. I found that adding a little bit more water to your face and going over it again helps get rid of it all. My verdict? It gets rid of your face make up and leaves my skin smooth, no drying  in sight which is an added bonus for me. It doesn't get rid of my eye make up so I'm gonna stick with my Bioderma for that, as I found out when my eyes were stinging and I was whinging in front of my friend.

It's hand luggage sized for airplanes which will be great for the summer and the next time I'll be in there, I'll be looking at more of their skincare range, I'm eyeing up their eye serum at the moment.

Have you got your hands on anything from & Other Stories yet?
