The Skincare Post: Cleansing With Oil

For the past few weeks, I haven't even touched my cream cleansers because it's all about this oil. This landed on my doorstep about a month ago and I didn't give it much thought. I didn't have high hopes but I tried it and I was immediately hooked.

DHC Deep Cleansing Oil* is a cleansing with ingredients such as olive oil and vitamin E, plus it's paraben free. I love how this oil only had 8 ingredients in altogether, it just shows that little ingredients are effective on the skin. It's a thin runny oil consistency and one pump is enough to cover your whole face, a little goes a long way. You apply it on dry skin and work it into your skin with dry hands, no water added at all. It will remove all of your make up, including eye make up. Some days I will take my mascara off with Bioderma beforehand but others I won't, either way this will remove it all. I will add that it's not like your usual cleansers, it won't be gone in a matter of seconds. As you're not adding water to your skin, you need to work the oil into your skin and I mean work. If you're in a rush, this might not be for you, but if on an evening you like to take your time with your skincare, this is a great product to use. You can take your time to massage it into your skin so that it dissolves all of your make up. I have dry dehydrated skin so I've never had a problem, but for you oily skinned girls, don't be afraid of using this. Adding more oil to oily skin can combat your problem!

Have you tried this or any other oil cleansers?
