The Hair Post: Bumble & Bumble Thickening Range

I love volume in my hair more than I should, but I'm quite fussy about which products to use for it. I only like volume when my hair is curled and only on the ends. Bumble & Bumble Thickening Full Form Mousse* and Thickening Creme Contour* came into my hands a few weeks back and I've been trying them out ever since.

When it came to the using the mousse, I got a little scared. Mousse doesn't have the best name for itself but in reality, it can be a really good product, especially for curly haired ladies. The Thickening Full Form Mousse* is to be used on damp hair, working it from the roots to the ends before blow drying. I use about a 50p size and work it through the ends of my hair only, as I use more when it's dry. There's a little trick that if you use it on dry hair and ruffle a little through the roots, because it contains alcohol, it will dry your hair out (anything to get out of washing my hair) but it'll give that bit of oomph it needs. The Thickening Creme Contour* is used on dry hair, smooth onto palms and run it through the hair. I find that running it through large sections of my bottom half of my hair works well. Unlike Bumble & Bumble Semisumo, which I'm still getting the hang of, this does all the work for you as the creme just disappears into your hair.

I'm just waiting to see what they come out with next as they have something exciting up their sleeve for the next release. What do you use to add volume to your hair?
