The New Thing: Coming Soon

So a little different to what I usually post, but I've been trying out of a lot of new things recently so I thought I'd give you my first thoughts on some products which will be reviewed in due course. Some of the products may be new releases but some of them have been around for a while but I've only just got my hands on them!

Let's start with make up, which I seem to have neglected on my blog recently. When I last ordered a few things from Space NK online, I noticed that Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Moonstone was back in stock. I've been using this for a few weeks now and oh my god, I am in love. I don't want to review it until I've tried it in all ways, but it's the highlighter my collection has been missing. Jurlique Rose Silk Finishing Powder* is something I was a little wary of at first. I never use a finishing powder, I mean, I don't even think I owned one before this. But the humid weather got the better of me and I was taking the 'dewy' look to a whole new level, sweat induced. If I use a tiny bit of this, I can make my skin matte a little but enough to have it glowing still. Brows, mine are busy and unruly and grow up my forehead which I have inherited from my father. They might be busy but at the ends they're a little patchy so trying to find the perfect eyebrow pencil is hard. My eyebrows might be dark but I'm naturally blonde and I like my eyebrow pencil to be light but also not ashy. That is where it gets hard. L'Oreal Super Liner Brow Artist is my newest pencil to try out. I have the Tom Ford Eyebrow Pencil on it's way to me now so we'll see which one wins. Dolce & Gabbana make up*, ooh la la Lucy. I've been treated to a few products by them recently, one including this eyeshadow palette in Vulcano. Not my usual pick of colours, however they compliment my eye shade so I might make it work. The next ones are meant to be out until later in July but they've been spotted on counters now, which are the Rimmel Scandaleyes Eyeshadow Paint and I picked up the colour Rich Russet. I've been impressed with all of the Scandaleyes products so far and this one hasn't disappointed as it's so pigmented. If only they would bring out matte shades.
Make up out of the way, there's a few new Bumble & Bumble releases which are out this month. They've extended their thickening range with a Thickening Full Form Mousse* and Thickening Creme Contour*. The mousse is scaring me so far but I'll give it a go as Amelia from Liana Beauty seemed to love it, along with the creme contour which seems to be a product easier to work with than Semisumo.

So look out for those reviews, what is your new favourite product at the moment?
