The Budget Buy: Babyliss Curling Wand

A while back, I was getting sick of curling my hair with my GHD's so I had a look on Amazon for curlers and ended up ordering this, the Babyliss Curling Wand. Costing just under £20, there was nothing to lose. Now I will never look back. Sometimes you can end up paying around £60 for a curling wand, when in reality, they all do the same.

It's just a normal conical barrel with no clamp, something I specifically did look for. The heat can go up to 210 degrees and it had five different temperature settings, I usually put it on the second highest one. The ceramic barrel is between 25-13mm and it had an integrated heat rest. It's a simple wrap and style wand, which is what I do. I take the section of hair I want to curl, wrap it around and hold for a few seconds before letting go. I only curl the two front sections up near the root, just so it will frame my face. Other than that, I just do the bottom section of my hair to give it a little texture.

For the price I paid and how much I have used it so far, I've already got my moneys worth. Plus it comes with a three year guarantee. If I could change on thing about it is that it was the thick size all the way down as I like big curls, but I can't have everything!
