The Budget Buy: Organic Surge First Class Mask

It came around to that time of the month and my skin had a little break out. It doesn't always happen to me so I took the opportunity to test some products I had sitting waiting for me. I needed a deep cleansing mask which wasn't going to dry my skin out - I like to stay away from anything clay based. I reached to Organic Surge First Class Mask* and Antipodes Aura Manuka Honey Mask*, both fitting the criteria I needed.

Organic Surge First Class Mask is a thick cream mask, which is suitable for all skin types. It deeply cleanses and purifies the skin, keeping the skin clear. Simply massage it onto the skin and leave on for 10-15 minutes, before washing it off. It's a non drying mask, so for dry skin gals, there is no need to worry. Organic Surge is a natural and organic dual-action mask, which is untouched by the harsh chemicals in many other products. It's enriched in rosemary and lemon essential oils which nourishes and rehydrates the skin. It's £8.49 for 50ml and available from in store in John Lewis or online on their website.
Antipodes Aura Manuka Honey Mask is a very similar mask, but with a higher price tag. It's thinner in consistency and feels a little more stronger on the skin. It's a deeply moisturising, cleansing and anti-oxidising treatment. Leave it on the skin for 15 minutes before washing it off, you should see a difference in your skin. Antipodes is an amazing skincare brand, so if you're after a high end product, this is the one to go for. It's £21.50 for 75ml and available online on Feelunique or in store in numerous department stores.

They're both brilliant masks, but if I had to choose one, I would go with the Antipodes Honey Mask. It was a close call though. However, if you're looking for a cheaper option from a brand you haven't tried before, check out Organic Surge! Which one would you choose?
