So last week, I took a last minute trip to London for the week for some time out and to visit my sister. I literally decided the night before to go so I didn't have much time to gather things, but I realised that the beauty products which were in my handbag, happened to be good ones. I use my Whistles clutch as a little wallet to contain valuables and make up, so I can easily transfer it when switching bags.
Winter has arrived so to keep chapped lips away, I'm onto my second tub of Nuxe Reve de Miel, a very thick lip balm. I have been known to pop this on my cuticles too if they're a little too dry, after all it can be used as a multi purpose balm! Clinique Redness Solutions Pressed Powder* is something I never realised I would love. My foundation can sometimes wear away during the day so to keep the coverage on tip top condition, I've been applying this throughout the day. I have quite a lot of redness in my skin, but I rarely ever powder so this has changed everything. I either apply it with the little brush contained in the box, or a small powder brush I keep in my bag. To go alongside the powder, Clinique Airbrush Concealer in 03 Light* is a great all rounder. It can be a little drying underneath the eyes, but for around the nose and on spots, it's perfect for topping up. An eyebrow brush is key for me as my brows can be a little wild at times, so I keep the Real Techniques Brow Groomer with me at all times. As well as this, I will keep the brow product of the moment in there too, which is HD Brows Brow Pencil in Brown*. I shamefully lost Tom Ford Brow Sculptor on a night out, I'm still upset about it. To make sure I'm smelling fresh throughout the day, Jurlique Essence of Rose Roll On Fragrance Oil* is perfect as it's so small and I love the smell of rose. I'm just waiting until the UK starts to sell all perfumes in a roll on. The other necessities include a small Muji compact mirror, a Tangle Teezer, dry shampoo, hand cream and hand sanitizer. Oh, plus the lipstick of choice for the day.
What do you carry around in your bag every day?
