The New Thing: Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette

It has arrived. Urban Decay has brought out the third instalment to the Naked eyeshadow palettes, Naked 3*. Rumours started to arise a few weeks back about whether it was true and when people saw images of it, everyone went crazy about it!

Naked 1 was very gold toned, Naked 2 had a lot of taupe shades and now Naked 3 is rose gold hued. It comes in the sturdy tin case, the same as Naked 2, so it's sturdy enough to carry around with you for travelling. There are 12 totally new rose-hued neutrals in the palette, with 3 matte shades and the rest being shimmery. Each of the shades feature the pigment infusion system, which blends ingredients that gives every shade the unique velvety texture, rich colour and amazing staying powder. It comes with a double-ended Good Karma Shadow & Blending Brush and an Eyeshadow Primer Potion Sampler, which contains samples of the four primer potions (Original, Sin, Eden and Anti-Ageing).

Strange - 'Pale neutral pink matte-satin'
Dust - 'Pale metallic pink shimmer with iridescent glitter'
Burnout - 'Light pinky-peach satin'
Limit - 'Light dusty rose matte'
Buzz - 'Metallic rose shimmer with silver glitter'
Trick - 'Light metallic pinky-copper shimmer with tonal sparkle'
Nooner - 'Medium pinky-brown matte'
Liar - 'Medium metallic mauve shimmer'
Factory - 'Pinky brown satin'
Mugshot - 'Metallic taupe shimmer with slight pink shift'
Darkside - 'Deep taupe-mauve satin'
Blackheart - 'Smokey black matte with rosy red sparkle'

The shades are beautiful and I do feel as though I will get a lot of use out of them. But I do think that if you have the first two, you may not need this one as the other two contain shades very similar to these. However, I know that there are plenty UD lovers out there (including me) who will just need this palette, no matter what!

The RRP will be £37 and it's set to land online and in stores on the 16th of December, so it's in time for Christmas! It will be available in Debenhams and House of Fraser Stores, as well as selected Debenhams in Ireland. If you prefer to shop online, go over to Beauty Bay, HQ Hair or Look Fantastic (where you're able to pre-order at the moment).
