At the moment, I've been using Aveda Scalp Benefits shampoo and conditioner and I do like it. I don't think it does anything amazing to my hair, but it helps keep any dandruff at bay and cleans my hair. If I've used a lot of product in my hair that week, I will wash my hair with Bumble & Bumble Sunday Shampoo. I tend not to use this a lot as it can easily dry my hair out, which I don't need more of. But it's a deep cleansing shampoo which removes product build-up easily. It does lather quite a bit though, which I try to stay away from, but for other hair types, it would be perfect. I also use Pro-Voke Touch of Silver every other time I wash my hair. Although most of the bright blonde in my hair has been cut out, I do still have a bit of blonde left. I use this just to tone down any yellow/ginger tones as my hair has a tendency to turn that shade.
For body, I stick to Sanex, especially as it's usually on offer in Boots or Superdrug. I used this throughout the whole of last year and it's very gentle to my skin. I usually pick up the most hydrating one, or one which is suited to dry skin. For a body exfoliator, I've finally found which is amazing and gets rid of my rough skin. Aesop Geranium Leaf Body Scrub uses bamboo stem in the exfoliator to remove the dead skin and to polish the skin. I usually use one squirt for my upper body and another for my legs, a little goes a long way with this, something I'm impressed by.
For my face, I will always remove my make up before I get in, or most of the time I wash my face before getting in. But if I'm being lazy, I will stick to an old classic, Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish. It's a moisturising cream cleanser which everyone knows about. It does the job and I like that. I tend to exfoliate my face in the shower too, as it's less messy. At the moment I have been using Liz Earle Gentle Face Exfoliator. It has very fine grains and it gets rid of all the flakey dry skin I have at the moment.
