Two new neutral palettes came in the post last week and it seems as though all brands are now jumping on the band wagon, because everyone loves a good neutral palette. Today's offering is from Clinique and Bobbi Brown, which is due for release on the 7th of Feb, but the Bobbi Brown collection is on counters now.
Clinique 16 Shades of Beige Collection consists of 8 shades of nail polish and this 8 pan eyeshadow palette. Using the All About Shadows, there are eight shades in the Neutral Territory 2* palette. The shades are all taken from other duos or single shades from their permanent collection. Shades range from a light beige to the deepest chocolate. I'm most excited about the shade Black Honey, as I love the lipstick and nail polish in that shade a lot. There are shades to fit everyone's needs, from beginners to professionals. The thing I love about it most is the size, it's the size of an iPhone and incredibly thin, perfect to throw in your bag. That's something I think the Naked palettes are missing.
Bobbi Brown Nude Collection is on counters now and is very beautiful. It consists of eyeshadow quads, nail polish, face powder and a sheer lipstick, all to match different skin tones. I've been testing out the Nude Eye Palette*, which consists of four eyeshadows. Two mattes and two glitters to help create a nude smokey eye. There is Dove Grey, Nude, Ballet Pink and Cement. I do find that with Bobbi Brown glitter shadows they are used best when wet, or patted on with a finger as they are very glittery. I don't wear dark shades too often, mostly nudes and browns so this quad is perfect for me.
Two eyeshadow palettes which are very similar but I love all the same. Which one do you prefer?
